Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow Pickup

Originally a four door pick up, the Silver Shadow in Tudor grey has been converted into a unique, bespoke masterpiece.

On arrival to Clark and Carter, the V8 Rolls-Royce was very much an inferior conversion, with the bumper being crudely cut and side trims had been replaced. Inspired by John Blatchley’s original styling, steel sections were then made where the rear doors would have been to help retain the Shadows clean lines, whilst the rear window was inset further forward which allowed retention of the rear quarter light, creating an airy, glasshouse character.

White-line tyres set off the period look, with the chrome side trim being reinstated by an unbroken section running from the door to the tail. The mounting of the rear number plate on the valance, rather than the tailgate completes the period look.

The Silver Shadow pick-up is the ultimate paddock support vehicle, with novel features including a gun rack and drinks cabinet in a natural wood finish.
