AC ACE Roadster

The AC ACE Roadster has undergone a full restoration here at Clark and Carter. The two-seat roadster, just 1 of 37/46, can do 0-60 in just 8.1 seconds.

Redesigned with a longer nose beside a smaller front grille allowing the new engine to be accepted further back in the chassis. Constructed using 3-inch steel tube, the light weight ladder framed chassis has undergone a full respray. The Ford Zephyr Ruddspeed 2.6 litre six-cylinder engine permits 170bhp in its most formidable form allowing the Ace to reach speeds in excess of 100 mph.

The midnight blue exterior is accomplished with tan interior and blue carpets. Although roof-less as standard, a bespoke Perspex race screen has been fitted to help protect from the elements.
